Besides going to the airport, this little walk across the river was the only time I left Zamalek once everything started.
I was pretty nervous taking these images of the tanks. They kept tsking at me to stop.

On the left, the Egyptian Museum (a lovely shade of pink). On the right, the NDP headquarters (a lovely shade of burnt). Their proximity makes me so nervous.
