Be Careful what you Blog about...

Because the Arizona Cancer Center will track you down and write you a really nice apologetic email about your single bad experience and offer to rectify the situation. And then you will feel embarrassed about complaining in such a public forum and also a little freaked out. How did they find my blog? Software that scans the net for any mention of their center? A blog reader who moonlights as a janitor at the ACC?

I don't know... but if you choose to be a squeaky wheel, you're going to get greased.

Oh and I called back this morning and got a appointment no problem!

Margaret I have to tell you; it was me. I called the Arizona Cancer Center.
Me: "Hi, yes, I'd like to speak with your witchy receptionist."
ACC: "Not sure which one you are referring to.."
Me: "If it helps any, she is an idiot and doesn't know anything about the BRCA gene"
ACC: "Oh, yes, here she is!"

But really, I'm glad they found your blog and hopefully that receptionist will be a little more informed in the future.

More and more institutions are doing just that. And geeks. Okay, I admit it, I have a vanity search feed or two my own self. Google even has a service for it that you can then subscribe to...

What are you going to say to the receptionist when you first meet her?

Jacob, thank you for shedding more light on that. How very interesting. And Dan J., I don't know what I'll say to her. Maybe "Sorry for blogging about you, I feel lame."

Oh Margaret, you are so awesome! I love your blog and I'm sorry about the bummer news. You are living in a good place though. I don't think Prescott has anything like that. Your new house is SUPER SUPER cute, even with the clutter. We really gotta get down there sometime and visit you guys and Paul's brother.
